New Jersey Basement
The transformation for this basement storage space began by assessing the organizational needs for this busy New York City travel executive, as well as taking some key factors into account such as humidity and any potential occurrence of flooding.
By making efficient use of the existing (and under-utilized) pegboard, we were able to reemploy it to house some of the client’s tools, cleaning items and even some holiday décor. We invested in sturdy plastic shelving to get almost everything off of the floor and put only water safe items on the lower shelves. We then created designated areas to house her seasonal items, excess canned/bottled goods and cleaning products. By creating the designated areas, the client now knows exactly where to go to find an item, and where to store an item when she walks into her basement.
